Measure Your Fit with What You’re Already Wearing
Forget rulers and credit cards. GlassOn's new measurement technology uses your existing glasses as a reference to calculate your precise optical measurements instantly.
Buying glasses online often fails for one simple reason: customers are not confident the glasses will actually fit.
GlassOn addresses this problem with a new measurement approach—using the glasses the customer already wears as the reference.
How it works (technical overview)
The process is intentionally simple:
- The user wears their current glasses and looks into the camera
- The user enters the lens width of the glasses (a standard value printed on most frames)
- GlassOn uses computer vision with a real-world scale reference to calculate precise measurements
The system automatically outputs:
- Pupillary Distance (PD)
- Segment Height (SH)
No rulers. No calibration cards. No in-store visit.
Why this matters
- Reduces measurement errors in online eyewear purchases
- Works especially well for progressive and customized lenses
- Increases confidence for first-time online buyers
- Fits perfectly into any e-commerce checkout flow
GlassOn does not estimate fit—it measures based on what you actually wear.
